These songs were recorded in practice sessions with one microphone in the middle of the room. This is just a moment in time. There was no intention to ever do anything with these recordings; consequently, they are very poor.
In fact, the band was working up new songs and these only had "placeholder" lyrics as the lyrics for most were written later once the melody and arrangement had been begun to take shape.

Indian Summer at Whitehall
The band moved to Athens, Georgia and rented a small practice house in an area known as Whitehall. It had two rooms plus a bath and kitchen. The only heat was a fireplace. We burned anything we could find and still nearly froze to death.
This is a time in which the band is moving to doing only original material. At this time, Eli Reinhardt has left the band and only Drew, Matt and I remain.
